RE/MAX Beach Towne opened for business on October 1st, 2005. Between that day and the end of the year we sold just $3.3 million. Our biggest competitor, South Island Real Estate was located just down the street and they ended 2005 with over 15 times that amount in sales! So you can see we had our work cut out for us.

Not only that, but they had been in business for 20 years, had 4 times as many agents as we did and had a brand new million dollar building. All we could do is roll up our sleeves and do our best. In 2006, we closed the sales gap to about 30% by adding 5 great new agents that were willing to take a chance on the new brokerage in the little office. Thank you guys!

In the first half of 2007 we continued to stay at around that 30% gap in sales... until we were able to add 2-3 more new top agents and then the tide began to turn for us. We noticed that more agents began to call us and come in to talk, and we were getting more interest from established, highly experienced people.

In the 3rd Quarter of 2007 something amazing happened. For the first time ever, we outsold BOTH of our top competitors, South Island and Premier Properties in residential sales. In the 4th Quarter we did it again. We started 2008 off well by beating both of the again in the first quarter.

PP- $ 8.6 Million

We finished the second quarter of 2008 on top of SI and PP again, which makes it 4 Quarters in row that we have lead the way in residential sales by Melbourne Beach brokers.
